Job Summary:

As a team member the Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging differentiated instruction to students and for serving as a homeroom teacher. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to integrate Catholic values into the curriculum and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to excel academically and grow in their faith.

Responsibilities:

* Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
*Act as a witness to the Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
* Plan and deliver standards-based instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners.

* Differentiate instruction to support students with varying abilities and learning styles.
* Use a variety of instructional strategies resources and technology to engage students in learning.
* Assess student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Catholic values and principles into the curriculum.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and spiritual development.
* Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and achievements.
* Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree or higher in Education or a related field.
* Valid teaching certification in the State of Texas.
* Experience teaching science at the elementary level (experience in a Catholic school preferred).
* Strong knowledge of relevant subject content pedagogy and instructional strategies.
* Ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills.
* Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the school.

Salary and Benefits:
