Meridian Health Services is seeking a full-time day-shift Revenue Cycle Technician in Muncie Indiana. This role supports accurate timely billing and assists both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and apply patient and third-party payments
- Scan documents and resolve payment discrepancies
- Handle credit card payments credits and account adjustments
- Manage payer aging and submit electronic/paper claims
- Verify demographics and insurance eligibility
- Monitor payment agreements and coordinate collections
- Provide financial counseling and review financial forms
- Contact clients to schedule payments
- Appeal denied claims and communicate with payers
What Were Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team-oriented effective communicator
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High School Diploma/GED required
- ICD/CPT coding experience preferred
