LPN Days

*Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 pounds push/pull up to 100 pounds grasp squeeze bend stoop twist crouch squat kneel crawl reach repetitive arm/wrist/hand use walk on uneven surfaces stand walk in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Essential Functions:

• Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrates a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
• Oversee a unit or work group for a specified shift.
• Provide for the basic comfort of patients implement nursing interventions identified in the plan of care that is individualized to their needs.
• Coordinate services and maintain communication with other departments or staff as required.
• Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patient visitors case managers coworkers and others in an effective manner.
• Complete and maintain required documentation.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• One or more years of nursing experience.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

SHIFTS AND HOURS:

7:00am TO 7:30pm with rotating weekends.
