Essential Functions:
- Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrates a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
- Oversee a unit or work group for a specified shift.
- Provide for the basic comfort of patients implement nursing interventions identified in the plan of care that is individualized to their needs.
- Coordinate services and maintain communication with other departments or staff as required.
- Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patient visitors case managers coworkers and others in an effective manner.
- Complete and maintain required documentation.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- One or more years of nursing experience.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
