Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canadas last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John NB the company was started by Susannah Oland in 1867 and is still owned by the Oland family!
As part of our improvement journey our Maintenance team is recruiting for a Red Seal Journeyman Industrial Mechanic with leadership aptitudes to join our team at the Brewery in Saint John New Brunswick. The ideal candidate will bring best practice experience from various industries and help the team continuously elevate the standards.
What youll do
Responsibilities
- Installation modification and configuration of production machinery in a high-speed manufacturing facility
- Predictive and preventative maintenance
- Equipment fault analysis
- Predictive and preventative maintenance procedures and techniques
- Troubleshooting during production
- Identify and develop improvements to systems
- Work from heights in a safe manner heavy lifting and various other physical tasks
- Must be able to work shift work including nights and/or weekends
- Accountable for lock-out-tag-out and working in a safe manner
What youll need
Qualifications
- Journeyman Industrial Mechanic Red Seal
- A valid Province of N.B. Journeyman Welder certificate would be considered an asset
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience is required
- Machinist/machining skills would be considered an asset
- Exceptional organization skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time and project management skills; ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated energetic and a positive attitude
