Business Advisory Director (Investment Advisory)

Role accountabilities:

The Director for Investment Advisory will:

• Lead the delivery of large projects ensuring client satisfaction effective project management and fostering communication and collaboration among Arcadis colleagues.
• Develop trusted relationships with client team members at the Executive and Senior Management levels leveraging these relationships to generate new business opportunities and propose innovative solutions that meet client and market needs.
• Contribute to the leadership of the Fund practice by assisting in setting objectives managing performance and ensuring the team possesses the necessary insights knowledge skills and resources to achieve business plan objectives and professional development goals.
• Lead the establishment of key performance targets and financial budgets for the team optimizing business performance in alignment with set objectives.
• Lead client relationships monitoring performance and taking appropriate action to meet or exceed client expectations while aligning with Arcadis commercial objectives.
• Lead teams to shape and win bids for regional projects ensuring profitability and alignment with client needs.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and the development of unique solutions and value propositions within their area of expertise.
• Provide inspiring and motivational leadership to teams consistently embodying Arcadis Leadership principles.
• Drive the development of staff competence and skills identifying regional and global growth and development needs within the solution domain.

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will:

• Be recognised by clients and the market as an expert in their field (e.g. digital infrastructure advisory M&A technical/commercial due diligence lenders technical advisory).
• Bring significant consulting experience with a strong focus on their chosen advisory area.
• Demonstrate proven business development and sales conversion skills with the ability to coach others to grow the practice.
• Possess leadership and people management skills with a track record of collaborating across geographies.
• Have experience developing and managing client-facing consulting delivery approaches.
• Successfully manage senior and executive-level business relationships with an ability to influence client behaviours and decisions in high-value high-risk situations.
