We are seeking a Senior Expert System Verification Engineer with a specialized focus on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rig development within the electromobility this high-impact consultancy role you will be responsible for designing and building the test environments that validate the next generation of electric vehicle technology including charging systems battery management and complete e-mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Expert you will be the technical architect behind complex simulation environments:
HIL Development: Lead advanced HIL model development for dSPACE and Vector environments for both new and existing rigs.
Model Adaptation: Perform continuous updates and adaptations on existing models and DBC files to align with new battery software releases.
Rig Architecture: Build BaseTech rigs for electromobility integrating and connecting multiple (1015) electronic control units (ECUs).
System Integration: Ensure that software flashing data communication and diagnostics are fully functional within the test environment.
Plant Modeling: Develop high-fidelity plant models with a primary focus on BMS (Battery Management System) HIL environments.
Framework Creation: Develop testing frameworks automation scripts and test management systems from the ground up.
Procurement: Identify and procure the necessary hardware and software components required to build robust test rigs.

Technical Requirements
To be successful in this role you should possess a deep technical pedigree in automotive electrical architectures:
10 years of experiance in HIL
Rig Building: Proven experience building boxcars boxtrucks or similar BaseTech rigs.
Test Environments: Broad expert-level experience in dSPACE (Configuration Desk Control Desk) and Vector (CANoe VT System) toolchains.
Modeling & Programming: Advanced proficiency in Simulink modeling and programming languages such as Python for test automation.
Electromobility Expertise: Strong understanding of automotive electrical architecture and electromobility control systems (BMS knowledge is highly meritorious).
Protocols: Deep knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN LIN Ethernet UDS).
Personal Traits
Proactive Independent: You are capable of working autonomously and are relentless in searching for the data and specifications needed to move a project forward.
Adaptable: You thrive in flexible fast-paced consultancy environments where requirements may shift as technology evolves.
