Job Summary

Position Overview
Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight shifts
Admit and manage acute medical conditions from the Emergency Department
Perform cross-coverage for hospitalized patients
Respond to rapid response calls and clinical emergencies
Collaborate closely with intensivists specialists and nursing staff
Ensure thorough documentation and handoff communication
Utilize EMR systems for accurate and timely charting
Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for South Carolina State medical licensure
Active or eligible DEA registration
Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
Commitment to delivering compassionate patient-centered care
