P&S A2R NA Team Lead

To support this mission Syngentas Finance Operations team is seeking a P&S A2R NA Team Lead in Montevideo Uruguay. This role will lead our P&S Costing NA team while ensuring standard costing excellence and strategic partnership with Finance and P&S. Combining technical mastery with outstanding leadership youll thrive managing high-level stakeholder relationships in our dynamic environment.

Accountabilities 

• Lead monthly NA and CA variances meetings.
• Coordinating with North America Finance BP the Month End Closing Process.
• Coordinate and follow-up on budgeting and daily activities between Finance BP and the Costing Analysts.
• Work with North America Finance BPs in identifying process improvements opportunities. Work with the implementation team in embedding such opportunities in daily activities.
• Support plant controllers in preparing the budget fixed cost.
• Prepare monthly cycle count inventories reports. Focal point from Costing for NA audits process. Cost US export materials for Syngenta plant locations.
• Intercompany variances analysis for US split between price duty and freight variances.

Qualifications :

Required  

• Professionals from (Accounting economics finance or accounting background).
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or P&S positions.
• Experience leading finance or accounting teams with strong focus on talent development and growth.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non financial audiences.
• Knowledge of Costing processes.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Knowledge of SAP and SAC.
• Fluent English and Spanish (Mandatory).
• Assertive communication.
• Proactivity and agility response.
• Energy Drive and Persistence.
• Influencing and negotiation skills.
• Analytic skills dynamic teamwork organized and attentive to deadlines.
