Job Summary:

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a talented faculty or staff certified nurse midwife (CNM) to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology on the General OB/Gyn team in Nashville Tennessee and surrounding region.

Position Highlights:

  • Vanderbilts OB/Gyn Department is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of over 150 general and specialist physicians NPs and CNMs in six specialty divisions dedicated to excellence in clinical and population womens health care and training the next generation of womens health care providers.

  • Our growing department provides comprehensive state-of-the-art clinical care for a diverse patient population at two major inpatient centers 10 ambulatory sites a birthing center and five outreach practices.

  • Staff assignment or faculty appointment at the rank of instructor assistant professor or associate professor with the opportunity to teach fellows residents and other learners. Participate in clinical or translational research and/or QI projects during protected academic time.

Qualifications:

  • Masters-prepared CNM with a solid commitment to the Vanderbilt values of innovation collaboration and quality. Academic rank is commensurate with qualifications experience and career goals.

  • 5 years of experience is preferred
