Join our dynamic Alexa Connections team as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer and lead futuristic quality initiatives that will shape the next generation of intelligent conversational this role youll work at the intersection of disruptive AI technologies and real-world impact making a difference for millions of customers. Youll collaborate with a team of passionate professionals who are as excited about innovation as you are and together youll push the boundaries of whats possible with Alexa.
As a Sr. QAE youll drive the development of test automation innovating and scaling non-deterministic functional and UAT approaches for real-time Agentic AI solutions that power our next-generation communication features. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams including product management sciences design and engineering to design and deliver innovative solutions that leverage these AI technologies to enable seamless intelligent communication experiences. Youll also lead the quality aspects of these advanced AI systems into Alexas core experience and ensure a high quality bar and CX for our customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Create test strategies test plans and test cases
- Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality
- Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
- Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines
- Find isolate document regress and track bugs through resolution
- Interpret and report testing results and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
- Work with software development engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
- Engage in code reviews to ensure testability and unit test designs
- Develop automated tests scripts and tools to enable CI/CD
- Collaborate across teams to enhance total product quality

- 4 years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
