Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Alarm Response Driver in Greenville SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Driving Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support access points and alarm activity as needed. You will document observations communicate clearly with site teams and represent Allied Universal with integrity teamwork and a caring people-first approach.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures access guidelines and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location including production areas warehouses loading docks and perimeter lines watching for unusual activity and potential hazards.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or authorization as required and help to maintain orderly traffic flow for employees contractors and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed reports of patrols incidents and observations and communicate shift updates to oncoming personnel according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
