Position Summary:Under the general supervision of the building principal the classroom teacher is responsible for the instructionand supervision of students. The teacher is responsible for providing a positive learning environment thatpromotes a high level of achievement for all students while considering the background and prior learning of eachstudent. Teachers work collaboratively with colleagues to provide support for students and routinely communicateprogress with and Qualifications: Possession of or ability to obtain current Oregon Teaching License with Elementary Endorsement. Positive classroom and behavior management systems that respect all students. Demonstrated skills in providing engaging instruction with timely feedback. Ability to provide instruction utilizing the course of study/materials adopted by the District Board ofEducation aligned with local state and federal guidelines. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with various stakeholders. Performs other related duties as assigned by the principal and/or superintendent.
