Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer (f/m) to join our Pylon and Engine Mounts Stress based in Toulouse France.

You will be part of a team developing the pylon a core structure ensuring the primary structural link between the engine and the wing. As part of the St-Eloi Design Office you will be involved in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT) activities aiming at ensuring structural integrity and safe operation of our aircraft fleet.

Your challenges:

Perform and validate F&DT certification stress dossiers modification justifications and SSR/IRD deliverables.
Sign production concessions and provide technical support to the Saint-Eloi manufacturing plant.
Conduct damage correlations for full-scale fatigue tests and perform complex F&DT mitigation calculations.
Support airworthiness subjects (OCC) and interact with certification authorities when required.
Lead knowledge capitalization and support the up-skilling of the pylon F&DT community.

Your boarding pass:

Over 7 years of experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT) within an aeronautical environment.
Strong knowledge of structural analysis tools: ISAMI Nastran Hypermesh Abaqus is a plus.
Experience in metallic primary structures and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement of stress processes.
Advanced level in both English and French (written and spoken).
