The Department of Oncology offers comprehensive cancer care services to all patients. The services are provided through multidisciplinary teams. Infrastructure facilities include a daycare setting dedicated to oncology patients. Outpatient facilities include clinics of Medical Hematology Pediatric Radiation and Palliative Care. The Department has a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency programs are offered in Radiation Oncology Medical Oncology and Clinical Hematology Oncology and a fellowship program in Pediatric Oncology.

Responsibilities:

- organize departmental events such as weekly national brain tumor boards conferences workshops courses and symposiums
- provide administrative assistance to departmental committees
- collaborate with departments such as food services finance purchasing IT and other stakeholders for operational needs
- collect and maintain information related to clinical educational fellowship and research activities
- prepare budget sheets and maintain GVR records for grants
- coordinate and follow up with support departments to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks
- prepare presentations documents and official communication on behalf of the department
- schedule coordinate and organize weekly or monthly tumor boards
- organize national and international tumor boards ensuring effective management of logistics documentation and communication
- support the department in accreditation and quality compliance activities
- collaborate with faculty residents and fellows for operational and research-related tasks.
