Job Summary
Position: IT Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support and troubleshooting as well as experience with network administration and security. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining our companys IT infrastructure providing technical support to employees and implementing new technology solutions to improve our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues for employees
- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
- Monitor and maintain the companys network and servers
- Ensure network security and implement necessary updates and patches
- Provide technical support and training to employees on company systems and software
- Manage and maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new technology solutions to improve business processes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements to the companys IT infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT support and network administration
- Knowledge of network security and data protection
- Experience with Microsoft Office Windows operating systems and network protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing environments
