Job Summary
SUMMARY:
TheNetwork & Security Analystwill play a pivotal role in modernizing Lexington Clinics technology infrastructure. Reporting to the Cloud Engineering Director this entry-level position is designed for a versatile technologist who can bridge the gap between core networking and modern cybersecurity operations.
The primary focus of this role is to assist in the transition from legacy on-premise infrastructure (Cisco/VMware) to a Cloud/SaaS-first environment (Azure/Office 365) while simultaneously maturing the organizations security posture. You will serve as a force multiplier for the IT team helping to build out SOC capabilities manage vulnerability dashboards and ensure HIPAA/PCI compliance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Preferred:Actively pursuing a Graduate Certificate or Masters coursework in Cybersecurity or Information Assurance. 0-2 years of experience in IT Networking or Cybersecurity (Academic/Internship experience accepted). Demonstrated experience withvulnerability remediationand security best practices in a university or enterprise setting.
Security Tools:Hands-on experience withSplunk(for data analysis/logging) is strongly preferred.
Cloud Platforms:Familiarity withMicrosoft Azureecosystem and cloud integration.
Scripting and Automation: PowerShell and Python preferred. Working knowledge of C/C or other systems-level languages a plus.
OS:Strong working knowledge ofLinuxenvironments.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to 8 hours per day.
