As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driving Patrol in Savannah GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols across facilities and exterior areas remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents verify access respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance and document observations using site technology. Working with a caring people-first team you will communicate professionally and act with integrity while supporting daily operations.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures access control requirements and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate contacts per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings hangars parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control entry points by checking identification verifying authorization managing visitor sign-in and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas in accordance with site policies.
• Complete required reports such as daily activity logs incident reports and patrol documentation escalating maintenance issues hazards and/or policy violations through the established chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
