As a Security Officer - Flex Alarm Monitoring in Richardson TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Operate the dispatch console by monitoring cameras alarms and/or access control systems answering phones and radios and documenting activity in required logs and reports.
- Dispatch officers and/or maintenance contacts to incidents service requests and critical situations communicating clear updates in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Coordinate notifications and escalation to property management local responders and/or Allied Universal leadership based on post orders and incident conditions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the building common areas and perimeter and report hazards suspicious activity and/or policy violations per site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
