Job Summary
MEMCO is looking to add Construction Yard Workers in Miami FL!
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: 7am - 5/5:30pm ; FT and Long-Term
STARTING ASAP!
Job Overview: Our customer is seeking dependable Scaffolding Yard Workers to support daily operations in their material yard. Ideal candidates will have experience handling construction materials particularly scaffolding equipment and be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in an active work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload scaffolding materials (pipes frames planks fittings)
- Bundle sort and prepare orders for pickup and delivery
- Inspect materials for damage and ensure quality control
- Assist with inventory management and yard organization
- Operate basic equipment (forklifts pallet jacksexperience preferred)
- Perform general labor duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in construction or material handling (scaffolding knowledge a plus)
- A pre-employment drug screen will be required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for accurate material counting
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team
