Job Summary
We are excited to be working with one of the leading Prep Schools in Berkshire to recruit a high-calibre KS2 Teacher for a Year 5 class. Starting in April this full-time role is for a passionate educator who can deliver a creative and challenging curriculum. As a temporary contract until further notice this is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in an Outstanding environment where small class sizes allow you to be truly responsive to the needs of every child.
Responsibilities
Lead a Year 5 class delivering high-quality lessons that ensure progression for all
Foster a desire for learning through a creative enriched and challenging curriculum
Celebrate diversity and promote mutual respect understanding and tolerance in the classroom
Maintain the schools excellent reputation for combining a nurturing ethos with academic excellence
Prepare students for the transition to secondary education as courteous and confident young citizens
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience teaching within KS2 (Year 5 experience is highly desirable)
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Ability to demonstrate consistently outstanding quality of teaching and learning
Must have the right to work in the UK
