About the Role:
The successful Science Teacher will deliver Science across Key Stages 35 with the opportunity to specialise in Biology Chemistry or Physics at A-Level depending on expertise. You will design and deliver engaging inquiry-driven lessons that promote scientific curiosity independent thinking and critical problem-solving skills. The department encourages creativity and experimentation allowing students to explore practical science while developing their theoretical knowledge.
Beyond classroom teaching there is scope to lead or support a wide range of STEM enrichment activities including science clubs Olympiads research projects academic societies and cross-curricular initiatives. You will work closely with a collaborative department to plan lessons assess student progress and develop new resources to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications:
QTS/PGCE and a degree in a Science discipline
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Science desirable
Excellent subject knowledge and confidence with practical science
Strong communication organisation and planning skills
Commitment to co-curricular involvement and holistic education
