Job Summary

Position: Power BI Report Developer
Location: Oshawa ON (2 days remote)
Structure: Contract 8 months to start
Pay:$57.00 - $65.00 p/h inc. HST

Deliverables

Migrate legacy SSRS reports to modern business intelligence solutions while designing and developing advanced dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI.
Build and maintain scalable data models and reporting datasets to support efficient analytics and enterprise reporting needs.
Perform data extraction cleansing transformation and loading from multiple data sources while ensuring data quality and consistency.
Publish manage and support reports in enterprise BI environments while troubleshooting data queries report accuracy and performance issues.

Experience Required

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Advanced experience developing business intelligence dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and modern data platforms.
Strong proficiency with structured query language (SQL) for querying transforming and managing relational datasets.
Experience designing scalable data models using best practices such as star schema and implementing ETL processes across multiple data sources.
Experience working in Agile environments with source control and issue tracking tools with relevant business intelligence or analytics certifications considered an asset.
