DescriptionBrief Job Description:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing and executing a variety and wide range of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department for the country were the position is based in LATAM working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees execute HR programs to benefit workplace culture act as the main point of contact for employees queries on HR-related topics leads HR local operations such as employee relations internal and external audits ISO quality employee records welfare disciplinary actions union negotiations (when needed) support to Managers from different areas overtime reports local legislation compliance training and development activities. Acts as the subject matter expert for all local HR matters in each country considering local labor legislation compliance and HR area operations functions.
Responsibilities:
- Design the plan for each employee according to the position for local on-boarding process for new hires or promoted employees into new roles assuring the whole process will impact positively into the employees success in the company.
- Ensures all employees have all the necessary tools for their job and access to the company ERP (SAP oracle VertivWeb etc).
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters.
- Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
- Recommend strategies to motivate employees and initiatives that promotes Vertivs Culture and Values.
- Leads welfare activities in the country for all employees
- Execute and manage all employee relations processes and procedures
- Ensure Unions negotiations and all related matters.
- Leads all government ISO legal internal or external HR audits
- Responses to government inquiries
- Ensures all local legal requirements are complying
- Holds meetings with managers and assess potential risks for employees and the company.
- Supports services contracts renewals from HR activities
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Supports regional HR activities
- Act as the HR local lead in alignment with the Sr Manager HR LATAM.
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration Social Studies Industrial Engineering and or related.
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Fluent Spanish or English
- Solid experience and technical knowledge with Labor Brazilian Law
- Experience with Labor and Union Relations
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
