Beem Credit Union seeks driven individuals to join us asSenior Money Advisor. This role offers exceptional opportunities for career advancement in the financial services sector. As the face of Beem Credit Union youll excel in identifying and meeting members complex financial needs collaborating with internal departments and business partners to ensure exceptional service delivery. This role isbased out of our beautiful Langley Branch.This branch is open Tuesday to Saturday.

What youll do:

• Analyzes member needs provides individualized financial advice and recommends appropriate Beem Credit Union products and services and alternatives including cross-selling and referrals to specialists.
• Conducts interviews with members to identify lending needs and make recommendations. Gathers information related to loan applications including conducting credit checks.
• Sells prepares and ensures accurate processing of lending deposit and investment products and services.
• Provides account services to members and processes routine banking transactions.
• Troubleshoots and assists other branch employees with complex transactions and provides system overrides as necessary within set limits.
• Proactively participates in seasonal and ongoing marketing product campaigns.
• Builds full financial relationships by analyzing member needs and finding solutions; upsells cross-sells and makes specialist referrals for credit union products to increase product and service penetration and wallet share.
• Engages in business development activities within the branchs community. Actively looks for opportunities to bring new business to Beem Credit Union.
• Performs regular and proactive outbound calls for product renewals as well as marketing campaigns to increase member retention and wallet share.
• Proactively seeks opportunities to consolidate business from other financial institutions and strengthen financial relationships with Beem Credit Union.

What youll bring:

• Minimum 3-6 years related experience.
• Post-secondary business degree or diploma is considered an asset.
• Consumer & Residential Mortgage Lending experience.
• Excellent customer service and strong relationship building abilities.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $58500 to $ 75700
