Job Summary

HVAC Pipe Fitter (Journeyman)

Prevailing Wage $65.00-$71.00 per hour

Monday thru Thursday 4 work days/10 hour days

Pottsville area PA

Responsibilities:

Responsible for setting up a rigid 300 pipe machine for cutting threading for grooving black steel pipe from ½
Responsible for setting up and operating rigid floor cutters
Welding experience soldering of copper pipe brazing copper pipe
Responsible for layout constructing and installing pipe hangers of all types per blueprints
Able to measure cut and thread pipe using a Rigid pipe machine
Able to measure cut and groove pipe use a Rigid roll groover and floor cutter
Measure cut solder and braze copper pipe of all sizes ¼ to 2

Requirements

Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program and /or experience as a journey level pipe fitter
OSHA 10 certification
Open to travel to NY NJ and other areas
Must be able to read blueprints and scale blueprints in the field
Must possess strong mechanical skills
MUST have a valid drivers license
Must be able to pass background checks
All PPE will be provided by company
