Data & Instructional Systems Coordinator

Guadalupe Centers Charter Schools (GCCS) serves more than 1600 students from PreK12 and is a free open-enrollment public charter school system located in Kansas City Missouri. Over 97% of our students identify as Latinx and many are bilingual or English learners. Our network includes Guadalupe Centers Elementary School Guadalupe Centers Middle School and Guadalupe Centers High School.

Summary:

The Instructional Data & Technology Coordinator supports districtwide teaching and learning by managing key instructional technology platforms student information system functions and data reporting processes. This role serves as a liaison to school-based staff providing training troubleshooting and guidance on scheduling grading assessment data and instructional tools. The coordinator also supports curriculum implementation instructional material management and new teacher development. Through expertise in data systems instructional practice and technology integration this position strengthens both operational efficiency and instructional quality across the district.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Data Systems Support (25%)

Curriculum and Instruction Support (75%)

Data Systems & Reporting

  • Serve as primary liaison for school-based staff (teachers counselors instructional coaches) regarding data systems and reporting needs.
  • Provide expertise in schedule-building and grading setup to ensure alignment with state course codes and district policies.

  • Manage Campus reports exports and ad hoc queries for instructional and administrative decision-making.
  • Support data management across key platforms (Ion iReady ELLevation RSP reporting systems etc.).
  • Produce and curate assessment reports across platforms and support data uploads into designated systems.
  • Provide support with Core Data and state-level reporting to DESE.

Instructional Technology Integration

  • Provide frontline training and troubleshooting for Infinite Campus scheduling gradebooks attendance and instructional tool integrations.
  • Support implementation maintenance and troubleshooting of technology integrations (e.g. Clever OneRoster digital instructional materials).
  • Manage and maintain platforms that support curriculum implementation and instructional access.

Staff Training & Capacity Building

  • Train school staff in usage of Campus reporting tools data literacy and other district-approved platforms.
  • Support Tier 1 instructional coaching for new teachers particularly those in their first year.
  • Assist with planning and execution of BTAP supports including classroom management and school culture guidance.

Curriculum & Instructional Support

  • Coordinate inventory ordering allocation and distribution of instructional materials.
  • Provide operational support to curriculum implementation efforts through system management and data oversight.

Qualifications

Education and Certification

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Education Educational Technology Data/Information Systems or related field.
  • Valid state teaching certificate.
  • Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience.

Preferred

  • Masters degree in Educational Leadership Curriculum & Instruction Data/Assessment or related field.
  • Administrative certification (e.g. Principal/Assistant Principal license) or eligibility for certification.

  • Experience with student information systems (e.g. Infinite Campus) and instructional data platforms (Ion iReady ELLevation etc.).
  • Experience providing professional development or instructional coaching.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Strong instructional background with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and/or coaching.
  • Preferred school or district-level administrative experience.
  • Proficiency with student information systems (Infinite Campus) assessment platforms and instructional technology tools.
  • Strong data literacy skills including data management reporting and interpretation.
  • Ability to train and support adult learners across varied roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple systems and initiatives concurrently.
  • Experience with platforms such as Clever OneRoster Ion iReady and ELLevation (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the school and classroom.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed.
