Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Runner is to transfer food inventory from the warehouse to the kitchen or kitchen to kitchen and restock goods.
Responsibilities
Ensure ingredient supply levels are accurate.
Move items from storage shelves to carts and transport them to designated areas for restocking.
Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience required.
Effective communication skills in English both verbal and written in a professional manner.
Neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card.
Ability to obtain a Culinary Union referral where applicable.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.
Ability to push carts weighing up to 70 pounds.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.
Ability to maintain productivity and accuracy during periods of heavy business volume.
