Our client a global leader in financial services and commercial card solutions is seeking a Card Operations Specialist to provide hands-on operational support to a commercial card implementation team. This role is focused on noncustomer-facing execution work including data updates transaction checks reporting support and manual processing tasks.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented operations professional who is comfortable following documented procedures working independently in Excel and internal systems and supporting high-volume process-driven workstreams.
The Details:
- Location: Remote within the U.S.
- Duration: Approximately a 3-month consulting role with the likelihood of extension or conversion to hire (must be able to work on Blends W2 without sponsorship)

What youll do:
- Perform virtual card reporting and basic transaction investigations to confirm successful processing.
- Execute manual updates to account records (e.g. expiration date maintenance) on a recurring basis.
- Process and track payment requests and operational tickets.
- Upload and validate customer data from spreadsheets into internal card processing systems.
- Support customer onboarding workflows for virtual card standalone card and small business portfolios.
- Provide general operational support to the implementation team helping resolve day-to-day processing needs.
- Follow documented procedures and job aids to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Perform high-volume data entry and quality checks in legacy systems.
- Assist with ad hoc operational requests and fire drill support as needed.
- Maintain strong data accuracy and documentation discipline across all activities.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required.
- 36 years of operations card operations payments operations or financial services support experience.
- Experience working in process-driven high-volume environments.
- Commercial card virtual card or payment processing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting implementation or card issuance teams is a plus.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Strong Excel skills (data review manipulation and validation).
- Comfortable learning and navigating multiple internal systems.
- Experience with commercial card platforms (e.g. TSYS/TS1 or similar) preferred but not required.
- High accuracy in data entry and manual processing tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.
- Ability to follow step-by-step procedures with minimal supervision.
Soft Skills:
- Reliable detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Comfortable performing repetitive process-driven work.
- Self-starter who can work independently after training.
- Flexible and responsive in a fast-moving operational environment.
- Team player with a strong support mindset.
- Able to prioritize and manage fluctuating workload volumes.
Additional Information :
The pay rate for this role is $40.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience skills certifications training and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
