- Manages the PRIMELink Project Management Software (Oracle Primavera Unifier) system and Help Desk to include access; setting up and maintaining projects contracts purchase orders etc.; training; and develop of new business processes and reports.
- Manages scheduling (Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM) to include creating maintaining and reporting on internal project schedules and reviewing and analyzing of Contractor created construction schedules.
- Manages the design creation and maintenance of Public Works databases dashboards models and reports.
- Supervises trains and evaluates assigned staff.
- Attends Pre-Construction and Pre-Bid conferences and other necessary construction meetings.
- Attends meetings with citizen groups community associations and City staff to discuss project scope and implementation.
- Coordinates and reviews design work performed by consultants.
- Resolves conflicts and other related problems as a result of project construction.
- Advises management on project problems delays quality control and presents possible solutions.
- Reviews contractors requests for payment.
- Inspects construction sites to determine project progress.
- Responds to request for project information from City Management staff City Council the press and citizens.
- Prepares construction related reports correspondence and ordinances for City Council action.
- Prepares and monitors budget.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in construction project management or supervisory experience.
Valid Class C Texas Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing creating and implementing Oracle Primavera Unifier business processes and reports.
- Experience designing creating and implementing database models reports and dashboards.
- Experience in project and construction scheduling using Oracle Primavera P6 software.
- Experience with Power Query SQL and Power BI with ability to design develop and optimize data and reports.
