Job Summary
Overview:
We are currently operating on Storage Protect and have made the strategic decision to migrate to a modern data protection platform.
We are seeking a Backup & Automation Consultant to join our internal team.
Your mission will be to lead a high-stakes Proof of Concept to evaluate and compare next-generation solutions specifically focusing on Veeam Commvault etc...
The results of this POC will directly determine our new production standard. You will be responsible for the transition from evaluation to a production-ready environment ensuring that our future strategy is robust scalable and fully automated.
Qualifications :
Mission & Core Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Deployment:
- Design and build the infrastructure for both backup solutions in a dedicated test environment.
- Ensure the setup reflects production-grade standards (security scalability and performance).
- Comprehensive Testing (POC):
- Execute performance benchmarks (Backup/Restore windows throughput).
- Conduct advanced technical validations: Data Immutability Air-Gapping and Cross-Platform recovery.
- Perform Disaster Recovery simulations focusing on automated recovery orchestration.
- Strategic Evaluation:
- Analyze the outcomes against business requirements and technical constraints.
- Provide a final recommendation report that will dictate the choice for the upcoming production environment.

- Fluent in French & English
NB : We are looking for a high-level Backup Expert who demonstrates total autonomy and a consultant mindset. You must have deep hands-on experience with Tier-1 Enterprise Backup & Recovery solutions and a proven track record of managing large-scale environments.
