What Youll Do:
The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) ensures internal quality standards are consistently met across programs and services. Serving as the technical expert for electronic programmatic systems such as Therap this role supports quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives through data review site visits program oversight and collaboration with Operations. Working closely with the Lead Quality Assurance Manager state and national teams and operational leaders the QAS helps identify opportunities develop corrective plans and ensure high-quality compliant and person-centered services.
Monitor and evaluate program quality to ensure compliance with internal standards regulatory requirements and best practices
Serve as the technical expert for electronic programmatic systems including Therap and other EHR platforms
Conduct independent Electronic Health Record (EHR) reviews to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance
Perform program oversight activities including site visits and participation in licensing and regulatory reviews
Analyze quality data and trends to identify strengths gaps and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with Operations to develop implement and monitor corrective action and quality improvement plans
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality assurance activities and findings
Support development and maintenance of Quality Assurance systems processes and tracking tools
Provide training guidance and technical support to staff on electronic documentation systems and quality standards
Assist with policy development revisions and implementation related to quality assurance
Promote positive solution-focused communication and teamwork across departments

Qualifications :
Required (Must-Have):
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review interpret and report on complex data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly
Strong organizational time management and decision-making skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) and Electronic Health Record systems
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing reviewing records and data entry
Skills & Abilities:
Bachelors degree in healthcare social work psychology or a related field preferred
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to IDD supports including HIPAA licensing and person-centered practices
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
