Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Central Compliance Director the Compliance Officer shall:

  • Support the drafting and revision of applicable policies procedures and guidelines and assist in ensuring their effective deployment throughout the Group.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of the Group Compliance Programme to ensure continuous improvement including through the performance of 2nd level controls and assist with risk mapping exercises at central level (e.g. Anti-Bribery & Corruption risk mapping).
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the control pillars of the Group Compliance Programme in coordination with Internal Control and Internal Audit teams.
  • Perform compliance adjudication and advisory tasks on key processes including Third Party Due Diligence conflicts of interests gifts and entertainment sponsorship and philanthropic activities requests and timely escalate associated risks and issues to management.
  • Support the administration monitoring and reporting on the whistleblowing channel including through KPI generation and presentation to Senior Management and participate in internal investigations into alleged compliance violations under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and best practices relevant to the Group and contribute to proposals to ensure that any regulatory changes are anticipated and appropriately managed.
  • Assist in coordinating and supporting the network of Regional and Divisional Compliance Officers and support Compliances responses to internal and external controls and audits.
  • Coordinate Compliances participation in mandatory reporting and documentation such as CSRD Plan de Vigilance and URD updates.
  • Support the design and roll-out of appropriate Compliance-focused trainings.
  • Assist in rolling-out and monitoring the use of the digital tools and platforms used in the Group Compliance Programme (registers solutions KYCs etc.) and contribute to transversal projects to improve the promotion of Compliance within the Group.
  • Any other tasks deemed appropriate or necessary to improve the efficiency of the deployment and monitoring of the Group Compliance Programme.

Qualifications :

  • At least 3 years of previous experience in a company in a consulting capacity or law firm
  • Training in law and/or compliance/business ethics
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus
  • Understanding of the relationship between a parent company and its various subsidiaries
  • Knowledge of main compliance matters such as the fight against bribery and corruption the adherence to and respect of international sanctions regimes
  • Ability to understand and articulate requirements of various Compliance and ESG-focused regulations (Duty of Vigilance Modern Slavery AML etc.)
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Ability to plan and to be pragmatic
  • Strong project management skills
  • Technology savvy good understanding of information systems and advanced technologies
