The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and subject specialism. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons that promote creativity innovation and practical skills.
Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 supporting students as they develop design manufacturing and evaluation skills.
Preparing students for GCSE assessments and coursework requirements.
Supporting students in the safe use of tools machinery and workshop equipment.
Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and independent thinking.
Contributing to curriculum development within the technology department.
Supporting extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs design competitions or practical workshops.
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures within practical learning environments.

Key requirements include:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
