The Role
The school is seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager to oversee the operational management of the school.
This role will involve working closely with the Headteacher and governors to manage finances administration HR and facilities to ensure the school operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
Manage the schools financial planning budgeting and monitoring
Oversee administrative systems and operational processes
Manage HR functions including recruitment and staff records
Ensure compliance with safeguarding health and safety regulations
Manage contracts procurement and supplier relationships
Oversee site management and facilities maintenance
Produce financial reports for senior leaders and governors
Support long-term financial planning and strategy
Lead and manage administrative support staff
Ensure efficient operational systems across the school
Requirements
Experience in financial or operational management within a school or similar organisation
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Knowledge of budgeting procurement and financial reporting
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Understanding of compliance safeguarding and health and safety regulations
