Job Summary

Alva Labs is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer with strong SQL skills and experience building data pipelines and analytics this role youll design data models build ELT pipelines in BigQuery ensure data quality and enable data that drives product and business decisions.

What Alva Labs is looking for
Strong technical background in data architecture ETL processes and data modeling
Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python
Experience implementing data governance practices and monitoring data quality
Strong problem-solving skills
Collaborative mindset you enjoy working cross-functionally with product design engineers and researchers
Bonus if you have:
A track record of leading data-driven projects and initiatives
Experience developing and executing data strategies aligned with business objectives
Most importantly theyre looking for someone passionate about enabling data-driven decision-making and continuously improving data infrastructure and processes.
What youll do
In one sentence: Build data pipelines that power high-quality analytics.
Build scalable data models and optimize ELT pipelines to power dashboards and self-serve analytics
Ensure data quality through testing governance and documentation
Collaborate closely with engineers analysts and business stakeholders
Continuously improve tools and processes for scalability performance and reliability
