Context

Skaleet is launching the AI Factory Operation: a dedicated taskforce focused on building the first natively agentic banking back-office.

The goal is clear: replace repetitive manual tasks performed by banking operators with autonomous AI agents connected to our system of record via the MCP.

As an AI Engineer Intern you will join a tight-knit team of 45 people operating in full startup mode: daily standups weekly demos builder mindset.

The main deliverable: an MVP of the AI Factory agentic platform including operational agents demonstrable on real banking use cases.

Your future missions

You will work hands-on to design build and ship the core components of the AI Factory platform.

You will notably contribute to:

• Developing AI agents connected to Skaleet APIs via MCP (reconciliation SEPA payments regulatory reporting)

• Building MCP servers exposing Skaleets business capabilities to agents

• Prototyping the agent farm interface conversational chat agent dashboard

Indicative time allocation:

• Agent development & MCP integration: 50%

• Interface prototyping (front-end): 20%

• Architecture & technical design: 15%

• Testing demos & iteration: 15%

Tech Stack

• Claude API (Anthropic) primary LLM

• TypeScript Python mixed depending on the component

• MCP (Model Context Protocol) agent/API abstraction layer

• React / front-end interface of the agentic platform

Environment & Organization

• Small focused team (45 people)

• Agile rituals: daily standups weekly product demos

• Strong exposure to:

  • AI agent design and orchestration

  • Core banking systems and banking operations

  • Cutting-edge LLM tooling and protocols (MCP Bedrock)
