Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the X-ray department
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Oversee staff scheduling and training
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers for imaging needs
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
- Implement quality assurance programs to improve service delivery
- Review and interpret X-ray images for accuracy
- Monitor patient care and comfort during procedures
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology practices
- Assist in budgeting and resource management for the department
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program
- At least three years of experience in Xray
- Two years of experience as a lead tech or Radiology supervisor
- Effective communication skills
- Participation in ACR accreditation
