This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care on-site in a collaborative environment.
As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. You will work alongside a dedicated team of professionals contributing to the health and well-being of women in our community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients
- Provide prenatal delivery and postnatal care
- Perform necessary surgical procedures and interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- Stay updated on the latest medical practices and advancements in Ob/Gyn
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Associate-level experience in Ob/Gyn practice
- Board certification or eligibility in Ob/Gyn
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Current medical license to practice in the state
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
Daily Volume: 16-20 patients
Procedures: OB/GYN procedures if called to ER c-sections vaginal deliveries LEEP colposcopy endometrial biopsies
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
