As a Security Specialist at Ubisoft Montreal you will be part of the Ubisoft IT Security Operations team within the Security and Risk Management this Security Specialist role you will lead the technical operations and evolution of core security infrastructure used across the organization. Your work as a Security Specialist will help protect Ubisoft strengthen security capabilities and support large-scale incident investigation and response. This includes ownership of logging infrastructure Security Information and Event Management systems and Endpoint Detection and Response solutions.
What youll do
- Lead the technical operations and evolution of key security applications used by Security Operations.
- Maintain monitor troubleshoot and scale security logging infrastructure supporting threat detection and incident response.
- Ensure security data is properly formatted and ingested to support detection engineering and investigations.
- Support Security Operations teams with SIEM searches training custom dashboards and troubleshooting.
- Manage vendor and cross-team relationships to optimize and extend SIEM capabilities.
- Collaborate with Detection Engineering to build security detection content and operational dashboards in Splunk.
- Develop and refine threat detection logic to improve visibility and response.
- Report on security compliance metrics service health and logging coverage for stakeholders.

- Hands-on expertise with Splunk in a production security environment.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and systems administration principles.
- Experience administering SIEM and logging pipelines at scale.
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting Endpoint Detection and Response EDR solutions.
- Familiarity with security tooling multi-cloud environments and containerized platforms.
- Ability to build automation tools or scripts to support security operations.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and strategic thinking.
- Clear communication skills to explain complex security topics to diverse audiences.
