Job Summary
- The Junior Foreman supports the Foreman.
- By leading the dock crew to safely unload and load linehaul and city order meet service targets.
- Leads on safety and compliance to help create safe work culture and compliance to processes.
- On Forklift as well some manual work is required.
- Quality Task Audits daily and reporting on any gaps.
- Reports daily on any equipment issues forklifts and Hand Jacks.
- Reports daily on any near miss
- Leadership able to mentor and lead.
- Must be able to cover Foreman shifts at time with little notice as well as vacation days etc.
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of city of Winnipeg and surrounding rural towns-ability to plan a delivery run.
- Leadership skills can clearly set expectations and assign tasks with company safety targets and service targets in mind.
- Flexibility with little notice to work a variety of shifts. this shift start late evening and early mornings and weekends.
- Willing to learn to run the am dock
- Ability to train new hires
- Forklift
