Description
As a Sorter you are at the heart of our delievery network. You wont just be moving packages youll be ensuring that our promises to clients are this fast-paced enviornment you will sort and seperate freight by destination weight and size playing a critical role in meeting daily delivery schedules and keeping our logistics engine running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
