Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospital Medical Technologist (ASCP) to join our team at a prestigious hospital in Overland Park KS. As a Medical Technologist you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing samples maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of test results. Key Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures including but not limited to blood tests urine tests and microbiology cultures - Collect and prepare samples for testing ensuring proper labeling and documentation - Operate and maintain laboratory equipment troubleshoot issues as needed - Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care - Stay current with industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or related field - ASCP certification required - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Technologist in a hospital setting - Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are a dedicated and skilled Medical Technologist looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic and rewarding environment we want to hear from you!
