Role Overview

The Post-Tension Stressing Technician is responsible for safely stressing and cutting post-tension tendons on active construction sites throughout the Dallas area. This is a hands-on field position requiring strong attention to detail adherence to safety standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Technicians travel locally to job sites using a company-provided vehicle and are responsible for performing tendon stressing operations in accordance with engineering specifications and work-order directives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring structural integrity and project completion timelines are met.

Core Responsibilities

• Stress and cut post-tension tendons according to engineered specifications and project requirements.
• Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance on hydraulic stressing equipment and tools.
• Follow strict safety protocols during high-tension operations.
• Maintain accurate work documentation and follow work-order directives.
  
• Collaborate with general contractors field crews and internal team members to ensure efficient project execution.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve minor field issues as needed.
  
• Maintain clean organized and safe job sites.
• Travel locally to construction sites throughout the Dallas area.

Required Background

• Experience or knowledge in construction practices preferably concrete or post-tension systems.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of job-site safety standards.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Prior post-tension stressing experience preferred but not required.
