DescriptionThe PMO Data Administrator supports the Project Management Office (PMO) through data administration reporting systems support and process coordination. This admin role provides hands-on experience across PMO operations financial administration and data analytics with a strong focus on developing technical skills in reporting tools Anaplan model support and business process automation. The role is designed to build capability in data analysis PMO systems and business operations while supporting the effective delivery of the organisations project portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PMO Administration & Coordination
- Monitor and manage the central PMO email inbox responding to queries and directing requests appropriately
- Issue weekly reminders for timesheet completion and support monthly timesheet locking processes
- Create and manage new starter accounts in time recording systems (e.g. Harvest)
- Support Credit Card administration including tracking purchases and maintaining Credit Card statements
- Support learning tasks and development objectives alongside day-to-day responsibilities
Communications & Documentation
- Send regular PMO communications including updates on new project codes closures and key process changes
- Maintain and update the PMO intranet as required
- Manage templates and ensure version control across PMO documentation
- Create and manage Google Forms and approval within PerformFlow or similar tools
Data & Systems Support
- Maintain and update formulas in spreadsheets (including governance and reporting trackers) and support basic script modifications where required
- Support data accuracy and reporting across PMO tools and systems
- Assist with building and maintaining Google-based reporting and dashboards
Anaplan & Reporting Development
- Learn Anaplan model building to Level 1 to support reporting
- Learn to design and build dashboards to improve user experience and reporting capabilities
- Run regular data imports / exports into the PMO Anaplan model and produce related reports
- Provide first-line support to users across M&I and business teams for Anaplan-related queries
Learning & Development
- Develop technical skills in data analysis reporting tools and PMO systems
- Gain experience in financial and project data management within a corporate environment
- Participate in structured training and apply learning within the role
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across PMO systems and reporting
Requirements- Strong interest in data analysis reporting and business systems
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and data handling
- Interest in developing skills in tools such as Anaplan Google Workspace and reporting platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive approach to learning and problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
