About the Role:

This is a permanent part-time position (up to 24 hours per week) based at our Armidale site.

As a Workforce Adviser for our Workforce Australia department you will work closely with people from diverse backgrounds to support them in progressing through the specific barriers they each face when it comes to looking for employment. Responsible for fostering relationships with local jobseekers employers businesses and community resources you will support your customers along their journeys to meaningful employment within your local community. BEST prides itself on ensuring that appropriate matches with employment are made with the needs and passions of the customer at the forefront of the services we provide.

At times the position may require day travel to provide operational support to surrounding areas where access to a company vehicle will be provided.

About You:

You will be a self-motivated and resilient individual with:

• A demonstrated ability to take initiative when completing tasks.

• A demonstrated ability to build maintain and grow professional relationships with a diverse range of people and groups.
• Previous experience in client-advocacy and barrier management (desired).
• Previous administration customer service or case management experience (desired).
• Class C Drivers Licence
• Clear National Criminal History Check
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
