100% FTE day/evening shift working Monday Friday for 8 10 hours scheduled between 8:00 am 8:00 pm with at least 1 in 4 Saturday coverage working 8:00 am 2:00 pm. Schedule is based on departmental needs and subject to change. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison WI.

As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Grow our Cancer Symptom Management Clinic which was established to provide expedited outpatient access for oncology patient evaluation with a goal to decrease avoidable emergency room visits.
- Collaborate with nursing triage to evaluate and treat patients experiencing acute complications of their oncologic condition and/or side effects of therapy (ie Neutropenic fever and intractable nausea/vomiting).
- Assess patients in the infusion/chemotherapy area who experience an acute change in condition (ie. Infusion reactions).

Education:
- If Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.
- If Physician Assistant: Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Family.
If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
