Job Description:
The Associate Project Management supports both internal and external operational aspects of ongoing projects within a program. This role ensures alignment between project management planning project teams and line management. Responsibilities include mentoring project issues; and implementing mechanisms to track progress and drive problem-solving.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees and manages internal and/or external operational aspects of ongoing projects within a program.
- External aspects require leadership and broad expertise across a multitude of disciplines.
- Internal aspects may include leading a subset of the projects scope or interface between project management and planning project team and line management.
- Influences the adoption of practices approaches and concepts across multiple disciplines.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops and implements mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers line managers and clients.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
To be eligible applicants must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree or have completed their Bachelors degree within the last 12 months regardless of age.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Prior project management experience in aerospace and defense environment
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California is $59000 MIN -
$110000 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
