Your tasks

Join us in driving the transformation of the commercial vehicle industry into the digital world. As a trainee you will gain deep insights into various areas of the MAN Truck & Bus company and the TRATON Group in this 15-months program. We are a large group of companies that is active on all continents. That means a lot of interfaces youll be working with. With your ideas you will advance our truck program of the future. Together with your mentor you will design your trainee program individually to fully develop your potential. Demand-oriented training courses and networking events will prepare you for your further success in our company. Your home area is in the Finance Business Unit Bus an independent business unit within MAN. Here you act as the interface between the central finance department and the units operational management.

• Planning and budgeting: Preparation of profit center accounting (sales costs investments) for the business unit and consolidation into the budget.
• Reporting: Regular preparation of reports (monthly financial statements variance analyses) to present the financial situation to management.
• Variance analysis: Identification of target/actual variances investigation of causes of missed targets and identification of corrective measures.
• Operational control: Monitoring the profitability of products projects or customer groups (e.g. using contribution margin accounting).
• Decision support: Advising management on strategic decisions investments or pricing through business analyses.
• Digitalization in finance with automation of routine tasks and support for the transition from controller to business partner who explains complex models and provides recommendations for action.

Your qualifications

• Excellently completed studies (Masters/Diploma) in business administration or comparable.
• Ideally you have a (study) focus on in controlling and/or digitalization.
• You have a wide range of practical experience through industrial internships or working student activities preferably in the automotive or supplier industry.
• You have strengthened your intercultural competence through at least 3 months of experience abroad.
• You are characterized by your independent creative and committed way of working.
• As a team player you have a high level of motivation and willingness to learn for personal development in an international working environment.
• You are enthusiastic about innovations and future trends in the commercial vehicle industry.
• Fluent language skills in German and English round off your profile.
