Your tasks

Join us in driving the transformation of the commercial vehicle industry into the digital age. As a Trainee you will gain 15 months of indepth exposure across MAN Truck & Bus and the TRATON Group - a truly global organization with operations on all continents and numerous cross-functional interfaces. Your home base is the organization Planning Truckr in Munich where we plan and transform production at the MAN Cracow plant integrating new digital planning addition to your assignment in Munich the program includes 8-12 weeks at the MAN Cracow plant 812 weeks at another international TRATON Group production site and optional 812 weeks in a development / engineering department to broaden your technical profile

• Play an active role in enhancing and applying the Digital Twin to virtually represent planning processes and production systems - enabling early scenario simulations greater transparency and robust decisionmaking throughout the product development process.
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the data model fostering a shared understanding across processes structures and system boundaries.
• Support the identification prioritization and design of relevant use cases including handson implementation in pilot projects
• Take an active part in introducing integrated planning processes through the implementation of the Digital Twin - connecting methods tools and stakeholders
• Analyze and evaluate layout alternatives material flows and process chains to shorten planning cycles mitigate risks and underpin decisions with data.
• Demonstrate how linking digital models planning systems and real production data sustainably increases efficiency quality and flexibility in production.

Your Qualification

• Excellent university degree (Masters/Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Computer Science Mechatronics or a comparable field
• Ideally with a focus on Production Management / Production Planning & Control Digital Factory / Digital Production Automation & Manufacturing Engineering or Technology Management
• Practical experience through industrial internships working student roles or as a research assistant preferably in production planning digital factory planning simulation technology virtual commissioning or production digitalization projects
• A selfdriven creative and committed working style paired with strong analytical and structured thinking
• A true team player with high motivation and the curiosity to learn and grow in an international environment
• Genuine enthusiasm for innovation and the future of the commercial vehicle industry
• Intercultural competence evidenced by at least three months of international experience
• Very good German and English language skills
