Position Summary
The Vice President Information Technology (VP IT) is a key member of Farbers senior leadership team and plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the firms five-year strategic plan. This role ensures technology is a core enabler of long-term growth scalability client experience operational excellence and risk management.
Partnering closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team the VP IT defines Farbers enterprise technology strategy and translates business priorities into a clear multi-year technology roadmap that supports the firm today and positions it for sustained success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Co-create and execute Farbers five-year strategic plan ensuring technology capabilities align with long-term business objectives.
- Develop and own a multi-year IT roadmap supporting growth efficiency client service talent experience and risk mitigation.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team bringing a business-first forward-looking technology perspective.
- Define and lead Farbers enterprise IT strategy architecture and operating model.
- Lead firm-wide implementation of technology initiatives and ensure systems are secure scalable and fit for purpose.
- Identify and implement cost-effective solutions across cloud enterprise applications and digital platforms.
- Establish IT governance prioritization and performance metrics aligned with strategic execution.
- Own information security data privacy and business continuity strategies including disaster recovery and backup.
- Manage vendor relationships contracts and service-level performance.
- Lead develop and build depth within the IT leadership team and broader IT organization.
- Foster a high-performance service-oriented IT culture.
- Develop and manage the IT budget ensuring disciplined investment and measurable value.
- 10 years of senior IT leadership experience (VP CIO Head of IT or equivalent).
- Proven success delivering enterprise IT strategies in professional services or knowledge-based organizations.
- Strong expertise in IT governance security and large-scale technology initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Technology is a foundational pillar of Farbers five-year strategy.
- A clear executable multi-year technology roadmap is in place.
- IT is viewed as a strategic partner driving growth scalability and resilience.
